Resend Integration

Overview

Connect Resend at the workspace level so OutCallerAI sends email from your verified domain—follow-ups, notifications, reminders, and other campaign task delivery.

Capabilities

• Transactional email: Deliver lead follow-ups and system messages via Resend.
• Workspace sender: Use your own API key and verified From address.
• Test sends: Send a test email from the integration Setup tab after saving credentials.

Prerequisites

• A Resend API key with permission to send email.
• A sender address on a domain verified in Resend.
• Access to the receiving inbox for a delivery test.

Setup

1. Open Integrations: Go to the Integrations Dashboard and select Resend.
2. Connect and open Setup: Click Connect Resend, then switch to the Setup tab.
3. Add credentials:
   • From email: A sender address verified in your Resend domain.
   • API key: Your Resend API key (Dashboard → API Keys).
4. Save and test: Save the form, then use Send test email to confirm delivery.

Campaign tasks that send email will use this integration when Resend is connected for the workspace.

How it works

OutCallerAI uses the saved workspace credentials when an email task or supported follow-up sends a message. Resend handles provider delivery and domain authentication.

Verify the integration

Use Send test email in the Setup tab. Confirm delivery, sender identity, and the message's Resend activity before enabling production email tasks.

Troubleshooting

• If the sender is rejected, verify the exact From address and its domain in Resend.
• If authentication fails, create a new Resend API key and save the configuration again.
• If a test succeeds but a task does not send, confirm the task is configured for email delivery.

Disconnect

Select Disconnect Integration in the Resend drawer. OutCallerAI removes the saved workspace credentials and stops routing new email tasks through Resend.
